Vande Mataram…

Hindustan Zindabad…

These were the slogans cheered by the Indian crowd at the Attari-Wagah border. Attari-Wagah border means India Pakistani border. The atmosphere was full of the feeling of patriotism and i thought today is the right day to share this with you.

I went to Attari-wagah border in the first week of august and it was a once in a lifetime experience. There were hundreds of Indians out there who were full of energy. Patriotic songs were played which kept the patriotic tempo going. You can watch the small video to witness the energy and emotions.

After the songs, the parade happened and there was an emotion on everyone’s face and all the soldiers had very aggressive and happy emotions on their faces. The parade was very beautiful in all and there were slogans of Vande Mataram… Vande Mataram… Hindustan Zindabad… Hindustan Zindabad… The Indian crowd were very enthusiastic. There were people dancing with joy. They were motivated with the patriotic songs played in the background.

The India and Pakistani representatives performed their acts and in the end shook hands. In this almost 2 hours event, we were sweating like hell. It was a very hot and humid day of Amritsar. We bought hand fans, juices and cold drinks. That was the level of heat but because of the patriotic energy out there, slowly we could not feel the weather. I was dancing on my chair. You can watch me here. Yes, that was the level of energy we felt inspite of hot and humid climate.

Today on the Independence Day I was remembering the day on which I went to Ataril Wagah border. Love India. Love Indian army. Love My India.
