My trip to Ranthambore

My mom’s birthday was on 2nd September 2024 but my computer exam was on that date so we planned the vacation on the 3rd September to go to Ranthambore. It took around 4 hours to reach Ranthambore through the Delhi – Mumbai expressway.

We started our vacation at the hotel of Taj Sawai, Ranthambore by checking in. Our room was decorated with balloons and chocolates due to my mom’s birthday. The property was very good, it had a very big ground and had a massive pool. It also had my favourite game chess in an separate room. I have written a different blog on chess in detail. The food and servicing of taj was very good, their staff were friendly also.I love tea (chai), and there was a separate time period for that so i loved it. The food of taj was as always very delicious. I also played chess with a staff member of taj and beated him two times but also got beaten one time. I had a great time with my family exploring the property and in the pool.

Then we went to another hotel Oberoi vanyavilas which was around 20 minutes far from taj sawai and it was one of the biggest and the most luxurious property i have ever been in. It was that much big that they had golf carts so that we can go in our tents. Yes, there were tents in the property and they were big enough to accommodate me, mom and dad. There was also a watch tower through which we could see the jungle, the whole property and different types of birds through binoculars. We also saw a documentary on a tigress, named macchli. There was also a nature walk in which we saw different kinds of birds through binoculars only. I did the nature walk twice, first with my mom and dad and second alone with the instructor. It was a great experience. The service and the food was as expected very good and delicious.
