Today the first Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) test ended in India’s favour. It was an easy and a magnificent win for India. The match started with a toss which was in India’s favour, and the Indian captain for this match Jasprit Bumrah elected to bat first, it was not a great start for India but still they managed to get a score of 150-10 in their first innings. The Indian fans were not that happy and they all thought that Australia will easily get the lead of the test match but they were wrong, our Indian bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Akash deep crushed the Australian team’s batting by bowling so well that Australian batting collapsed at a score of 104-10. The Indian fans including my whole family and my all friends were very happy but now it was time for the second innings of Indian team. All Indian fans had hopes that the team would not collapse again in the second innings as they did in the first and their hopes didn’t break. The innings was off to a great start, as Yashaswi Jaiswal and KL Rahul started bashing runs, then Devdutt padikkal came and made a knock of 25 runs. After that the king of cricket Virat Kohli came on the pitch and made a successful century. Rishabh pant and Dhruv jurel had bad luck and both got out at the score of 1 run. Then came Washington sundar and after him came Nitish Kumar Reddy. The best three knocks of this second innings was of KL Rahul – 77 runs, Virat Kohli – 100 runs, and at the end Yashaswi Jaiswal – 161 runs. Our team declared the inning at 487-6. Then came Australia’s batting and they got all out at the score of 238-10 and we won the match by 295 runs. Me, my family and my friends enjoyed these 4 days of battle between Indian team and Australian team.
My advice to Indian team is that to bring back our Former Indian Captain – Rohit Sharma because he is our only hope. Although we won this match but the collapse of first innings was not good and the next test is at Adelaide. It is going to be more tough than Perth. Indian team should be ready for it because Australia’s cord in this stadium is very good.
We need to be ready for it.
