SRH beats RR by 44 runs and demolished RR in the match. Under the captaincy of pat cummins SRH set a target of 287 runs in 20 overs!! Which is the second highest total in the history of IPL.
Ishan Kishan scored a knock of 106 runs in his first match as a SRH player which helped SRH to reach 286. RR tried well to chase the Target but couldn’t and lost the match. Travis Head’s 67 off 37, Heinrich Klaasen’s 32 off 14, Nitish Reddy’s impactful 30 off 15, and Abhishek Sharma’s 24 off 11 helped SRH to reach 286/6.
Sanju Samson’s 66 of 37, Dhruv Jurel’s 70 of 35 and Shimron Hetmyer’s 42 of 23 helped them to reach 242/6 but it wasn’t enough as the target was 287.
The turning point of the match was wickets of Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel. Harshal Patel took the wicket of Sanju Samson which was caught behind the wickets by Heinrich klaasen and Adam Zampa took the wicket of Dhruv Jurel which was caught by Ishan Kishan.
The 4 of 5 highest scores in IPL are scored by SRH.
