Punjab sets a high target of 244 for Gujarat but the win goes to Punjab. GT tried very well but still it wasn’t enough for them. Sai Sudharshan made a beautiful knock but the bowlers of Punjab were successful to defend the total.
The turning point was the important wicket of Shubhman Gill and Sai Sudharshan. Shreyas Iyer made a captains knock and the GT bowlers coudn’t get him out. The debutant Priyansh Arya of PBKS made 47 which is very effectful.
Out of 5 matches played between PBKS and GT, GT has won 3 whereas PBKS has won 2.
Everyone from both teams played well but in the middle overs of the match GT got under pressure and couldn’t take the wickets of the PBKS batsmen and lost wickets in their own batting.
