MI choked another match by losing to GT by 36 runs. It was a simple chase of 197 runs but there were some weaknesses in the batting and bowling of MI as GT scored 196 runs.
The turning point of the match was the wickets of Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Verma who are the bets batsmen of the whole MI lineup and when MI bowlers couldn’t take the wicket of Sai Sudharshan, they got under pressure and did not perform well in the bowling.
MI and GT have played 5 matches in total from which GT has won 3 and MI has won 2.
Sai sudharshan’s 63 runs made a lot of impact in the batting and in the bowling Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj, both took two precious wickets and made a lot of impact in the GT bowling. From MI no one played well so they need to win their next game other wise they will be at the bottom of the table.
