A low scoring one sided match between MI and KKR gave MI their first win in the IPL 2025. MI bowling just destroyed KKR batting especially Ashwani Kumar who took a 4 wicket haul against a good team.
The turning point of the match was the wicket of the captain of KKR Ajinkya Rahane. Ryan Rickelton’s 62 runs helped MI to wrap up the match early and finish the chase of 122 runs in 12.5 overs only
Out of 35 matches MI has won 24 and KKR has won 11 matches.
None of the players from KKR played well because of 1 player, Ashwani Kumarwho gave only 25 runs and took 4 wickets and Ryan Rickelton made 62 runs.
