A high scoring thriller match between MI and DC but due to the epic bowling performance shown by MI, the match got in the favour of the 5 time champions MI.
The turning point of the match was the 3 consecutive run outs in the 19th over and DC got all out at 193 in a target chase of 206 runs. Karun nair fought like an one man army but it was all a waste as DC lost the match which was easy to win. The first run out was unnecessary as Ashutosh sharma tried to get two runs and hitting 2 boundaries.
MI has made 200+ runs 15 times while batting first and has defended their total in all the matches. DC almost had a five win streak but it ended on a 4 win streak due to the exceptional performance by MI
