A high scoring match which got in the favour of DC and hardened their chances to qualify for the playoffs. KKR won by 14 runs and the gave a target of 205 and DC could make only 190 runs and lose.
The turning point of the match was the spell of Sunil Narine as he took 3 important wickets and made 27 runs. Faf Du Plessis, Axar Patel and Vipraj Nigam tried their best but couldn’t help DC make I the match a win.
DC won the starting 4 matches in a row but in the next 6 matches they have only won 2 matches.
