After this match played we have our first team that has been eliminated from IPL 2025 playoffs race which is the 5 time – IPL champion CSK which lost this last over thriller match against PBKS and got eliminated.
The turning point of the match was the wicket of Sam Curran and Dewald Brevis, especially Sam Curran as he played like an one man army but the bowling lineup couldn’t defend CSK’s highest total in this season 191 runs.
CSK were 48/3 after 6 overs, then 160/4 after 16 overs, then the downfall came and after making 30 runs they lost 6 remaining wickets and got all out again. Yuzvendra Chahal had bowled 2.3 overs and gave 30 runs but then he after he completed his 3rd over his bowling figure was 4 wickets by giving 32 runs in which a hattrick was included.
Congratulations to PBKS on winning against CSK and eliminating them from IPL 2025.
