A match in which LSG gave their all power and won against the qualified GT by 33 runs. Finally we saw GT’s top 3 failing in this IPL. LSG played very well not in only batting but also in bowling because stopping a team like GT at 202 runs in 20 overs is not a small thing.
The turning point of the match was the wicket of Shahrukh Khan, Shubman Gill, Sherfane Rutherford, Sai Sudharshan and Jos buttler who all have dominated with this team in this IPL but in this match they couldn’t help GT win the match. Mitchell Marsh made a beautiful and important knock of 117 runs and demolished the GT bowlers, also Nicholas Pooran made a half century.
This match has affected the chance of GT qualifying in the top 2.
