A thriller match which got one sided in the last over. One team has qualified for the Qualifier 2 against Punjab and second team has been eliminated. MI has been qualified for the qualifier 2 and sadly GT has been eliminated from IPL 2025
The turning point of the match was the wicket of Sai Sudharshan who made 80 runs and was a crucial player for GT in this match but still the result got in MI’s favour. Rohit Sharma is being very consistent now in IPL as he also made 81 runs in this match and became the player of the match. Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult were like fire on the pitch. Both played a crucial role in this match. Also Shubman Gill got out in the first over by Trent Boult.
MI lost 4 of their first five matches and now they are in the qualifier 2 and will play against Punjab.
