WTC Final – Day 2 – SA vs AUS

The day 2 of the WTC final was filled with ups and downs. Firstly we saw South Africa playing really well as the were 94/4 but then their downfall came and they got all out on 138 runs giving Australia a lead of 74 runs and at the end of the day

Australia are on 144 runs at a loss of 8 wickets.

Some people think that South Africa did really well in their bowling which is true but the type of batting they did in their second innings, I don’t think that they can chase 200+ runs in the fourth inning of this match. After seeing their downfall in the second innings there is very less chance of South Africa winning their first trophy. I don’t now what is going on with the Australian Batting line up because the main player Travis head got out before even making 20 runs. This was a really good advantage for South Africa but they bottled it and made only 138 runs in their first innings and in the second innings also of Australia also Travis Head got out early.

Lungi Ngidi too 3 wickets in day 2 and Rabada also too 3 wickets. One thing was very questionable which was that the amount of no balls bowled by South African Bowlers towards the end of day 2 an the amount of catches dropped on day 2.

From the Australian team Pat Cummins took 6 wickets in South Africa’s first inning and silenced the whole team and the whole fan base.

If South Africa doesn’t take quick wickets of the remaining Australian batsman then they will have a low chance to win ans if they don’t chase wisely then they will lose for sure.
