A legendary game which was released in the 1980s and took the attention of the whole world, of course I am talking about Super Mario. It was the most played game in the 1980s and 1990s. The Character Mario was crafted by the legendary Game Designer Shigeru Miyamoto in 1981.
But today we are taking about the man who made the Super Mario Bros. Manga, Kazuki Motoyama, born on April 12th 1956 and died today November 11th 2025(Rest In Peace). He is a Japanese Manga Artist, he died at an age of 69.
Super Mario Bros was launched on 12 September 1985, so this means that he was 29 years old when Super Mario Bros launched and it was and It is a very big hit.
Motoyama was the author and the illustrator of the Super Mario Manga Series which ran in a Magazine for a decade (From 1988 to 1998). The Super Mario Bros. Series is the best video-game selling Franchise of all time.
A notable original character which was kinoppe, a toad was made by Kazuki Motoyama.
