DNA is just like inheritance, it gets passed on to the next generation from the parents. DNA makes the next generation look a little bit familiar with the parents.

We have heard this word a lot times, DNA, but what does it actually mean?
DNA is called Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid.
DNA molecules contain the information necessary for organising and constructing cells.
Functional Segments of DNA are Genes.
Imagine DNA like a raw source code of a massive video game or application.
Chromatin Material
Chromatin material can be called as the form of DNA when cell is not dividing.
It is visibly like Thread – Like Structures under a microscope. When the cell is about to divide, The Chromatin Material gets converted into Chromosomes which contains DNA.
We can say that chromatin material is the DNA in active state in which it is doing day to day moving and normal activities
CHROMOSOMES
Nucleus Contains Chromosomes which rod – shaped structures.
They are visible only when The Cell is about to Divide.
It is the Chromosomes only which contains the Information and for passing it from the Parents to the Next Generation in the form of DNA.
Chromosomes is a highly compressed pack of Chromatin material
Chromosomes can be called as the information tightly packed for moving during cell division.
Hence, if the cell is not dividing at the moment then the DNA is present in the form of Chromatin Material
And the moment cell is dividing the chromatin material (form of DNA) gets packed in the form of chromosomes.
